The editorial base of the Cochrane Airways Group (CAG) is located at St George's, University of London, in Tooting, South London. The Group was established in 1995 and has a large, international membership who contribute as authors, editors, peer reviewers, handsearchers and translators.

Chris has been involved with the Cochrane Collaboration since 1996. He has been Co-ordinating Editor of the Airways Group since 2003 and has overall responsibility for the Groups' reviews and protocols. He has worked in primary care for over 20 years and has a particular interest in the application of evidence based medicine.
Toby is responsible for supporting review authors in the preparation of their reviews from registration of titles through to publication, and he manages the editorial process of the group. He has co-written a number of reviews and regularly teaches Cochrane and systematic review methods. He can provide advice and assistance on extracting data and in the planning and performing of meta-analyses.
Elizabeth is responsible for building and maintaining a register of controlled trials in the area of obstructive airways diseases. This register is published in the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials (CENTRAL) in the Cochrane Library. Elizabeth also provides support for authors for the search methods of their reviews, and can help with obtaining papers and translations.
Susan is carrying out a pilot project on converting the Airways Group trials register from a reference-based, to a study-based register. This has included evaluating different bibliographic software.
Emma has recently joined the group to write systematic reviews. She is going to work on a number of high priority updates and new reviews. Her backgound is in organic chemistry and she has spent time working in drug discovery.
