The Cochrane Airways Group assists in the production and maintenance of systematic reviews and a register of trials that assess the effects of treatments in the management of obstructive or inflammatory diseases of the airway. Our reviews and our trials register cover the following:
- Chronic and acute asthma (including allergic / atopic asthma, exercise-induced asthma, and occupational asthma)
- Stable and acute chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (chronic bronchitis/emphysema)
- Obstructive sleep apnoea
- Non-cystic fibrosis bronchiectasis
- Interstitial lung disease, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and pulmonary sarcoidosis
